Bare Facts - Toy Soldier. This song was from the Southern Rock version of The Bare Facts, and is the group's longest-lasting. It has been played on-air since the early 70's and is the group's overall best selling song. It was originally released as the B-side of
Pain.
Toy Soldier is presently available on an album called "For a Few Fuzz Guitars More" that has received good reviews and is referred to on Wikipedia as among the "quality examples of their genres." Check
Toy Soldier out on web radio station "Beyond the Beat Generation."
Toy Soldier features Michael May on lead vocal and organ; Ron Keene on bass & harmony vocals; Roger Smith on guitar, and Jon Bryan on drums.

Bare Facts - Watch Your Step. This was the group's first record, and sold well regionally. It features Bob Burns on lead vocal & keyboards; Michael May on bass; Curtis Robertson on drums, and Wayne Nippers on guitar. This was the A-side of the only record by the soul version of the Bare Facts. It was released following the band's appearances on Dick Clark's "Happening 68." The odd thing was that both sides were pop, not soul.
Here's a link to the 60sgaragebands.com website that has this song posted along with an interview with Bare Facts keyboardist Bob Burns.

Bare Facts - Travelin' Man. Roger Smith, Lead Vocal and Guitar; Michael May, Keyboards & Harmony; Ron Keene, Bass and Harmony; Jon Bryan, Drums. Michael and Ron wrote this song. Ray Mills played sitar. The only copy we could find was a well-worn old 45 rpm record.
Michael May & Ron Keene - Her Lies Again. Michael and Ron wrote this song and recorded it in Michael's living room. Michael sent the demo to the Beach Boys, and was surprised to get a call from Beach Boys leader Brian Wilson saying that they liked the song and were considering recording it. Wilson also informed Michael that the Beach Boys were starting a new label, Brother Records. He requested that Michael send some studio cuts for consideration of a recording contract. Michael sent Pain and Toy Soldier, but unfortunately neither deal ever happened.
